Just what I needed for car travel, never have to worry about the battery when using navigation, etc. The wire is very thin which worries me but this keeps it compact. Not too lengthy but certainly long enough for inside a car. Charges fine. Great value

After reading the crazy reviews I was a little worried about this, but for the price I thought there was not much to lose. Turns out the little charger works great. The retractable cord eliminates the center console mess when not in use and allows for just enough cord to be used when charging the phone. A lot of charges for the EVO charge very slowly, but I found this one to be comparable to the stock charger the phone comes with. So far I have not seen any problems or defects. I did notice that the tip (of the end plugged into the lighter socket) gets very hot after use, but I doubt it will impact the charger in a negative way. Buy this.

The retractable cord is the cool part. Pull it out, it locks at whatever length you want - so you don't have extra cord getting tangled up in anything. When you're done, hit the button, its like a tape measure, zips back in to the unit. Compact, fits in a pocket, sturdy, overall a nice charger.

I have to be honest i was afraid this was just not going to work. but it works great. charges at a full AMP. Another cool plus is the cable is really really thin.its great for us because we use our EVO's as the navigation so now we don't have this massive cable running up the dash.

Bought 4 charges for EVO4. None of them worked - seller provided a refund. Spend the money and buy a better quality charger.
